Roast Chicken

Ingredients

  • 3 tbs salt
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cayenne
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 large roasting chicken
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 head of garlic

Instructions

  1. Place all the dry ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Wash the the chicken and pat dry.
  3. Next slather with olive oil.
  4. Rub the chicken with dry ingredients. over and under the skin.
  5. Stuff cavity with garlic cloves, onions, and lemon. Anything aromatic.
  6. Cook at 300. About 20 min. per pound.
